From the Winner's Circle at Saratoga - Part 2

Who would've dreamed after last weeks excitement that it would happen again so soon? That the racing gods would shine down upon us and we would be a blessed with another win? It's exciting enough to have won one at Saratoga but to have two, two for two, is like a dream come true.

It's also very gratifying to know that the changes we made and the adjustments Cliffs of Dover experienced, resulted in a resounding victory last Sunday. It was hard to really see Cliffs of Dover early in the race because of the size of the field and the fact that they were very close quarter. But there was no mistake when at the top of the stretch he circled the field and drew off to win by two. To be honest, if he did not win this race we would've had our hands full trying to figure out what the next step was. He responded the way he should've and made us all look like geniuses at the end of the day. I'm so happy for all the owners that were there in the winner circle, many of them experiencing a win at Saratoga for the first time, some with tears in their eyes, many with sore raspy throats.

It doesn't matter what kind of race it is or how many times you win, it's always as if you're doing it for the first time and you float on air for days afterward.

Congratulations to everyone and thank you for joining us in the Winner's Circle.
