We have made it our tradition to offer top class horses for syndication by Top Class International sires! We are very proud to offer this horse; an outstanding colt by More Than Ready!

One of More Than Ready’s BIG headline getter is VERRAZANO, who had the Best Beyer Speed Figure of 2013 by a 3-year-old – 116 Beyer in his record-setting, 9 ¾ length romp in the Haskell Invitational (G1).

More Than Ready had a momentous 18 SWs, 11 GSWs with 3 G1 winners internationally in 2013. He boasts 123 Stakes Winners, second best among all active North American sires with 56 Group/Graded SWs, 15 G1 winners in both hemispheres.
And then there is the class factor: he has had 3 Breeders’ Cup winners in the past four years with worldwide progeny earnings of nearly $105 million.

Bottom Line? He gets top class race horses!

Add all that sire power, combined with a world class female line and a cross that has produced so many Stakes Winners for More Than Ready and we have a winning combination.

Cliffs Of Dover, LLC

Cliffs of Dover; Here he is and WOW, here he goes!

We are very proud to announce the syndication of a very special horse.  A horse that is very close to our heart and is very special because we raced his Mom and ran behind his Dad!

Cliffs of Dover is by English Channel out of the outstanding, and very consistent, Stakes mare Ambidaxtrous!  This is the first foal out of this accomplished race mare Ambidaxtrous by Deputy Commander.  Cliffs of Dover is sired by one of the greatest race horses of our time; English Channel, who has one of the most prolific, competitive and consistent race records of his generation and generations to come.  18 times in the money out of 23 starts with 13wins, 10 of those being stakes wins, 6 Gr1’s.  Champion at 5, winning the Breeder’s Cup Turf Mile.  The best part about English Channel, besides his tactical speed and his ability to accelerate the longer the race went, was that he improved with age and retired at the top of his game. The frosting on the cake?  The horse earned over 5 million dollars!

We put a lot of thought into this mating (hiring none other than one of the best geneticists in the business: Alan Porter) and it turns out we were correct. One of English Channel’s top competitors is bred along the same exact line as Cliffs Of Dover.  Blueskysnrainbows, a Gr2 Stakes winner and multiple Gr1 stakes placed, is out of a Deputy Minister mare and gives us some flexibility as to the multiple surface and distance indications this breeding might afford us in the future.  Again versatility and consistency is the key in any horse’s career because it gives the owners more opportunities to run.  So run we will and we would love to have you on board.

The Ride Of Your Life, LLC

For those of you who are beginners and have never owned a horse before, here is a brief tutorial on what to look for in a racing prospect.

First lets start off with the Sire, in this case a well established proven Stallion by the name of Candy Ride. He is a Grade 1 Stakes winning sire who has already produced enough grade 1 stakes winning runners to fill up a page. His progeny  run short or long and many have won Graded stakes at classic distances. He also represents a good outcross, with a lot of South American bloodlines running through his veins, which excites our Genetics department.

Our horse (a big beautiful specimen) is out of the multiple graded stakes winning dam Unbridled Hope, who ran with some of the best race mares of her generation namely: Banshee Breeze, Keeper Hill, Tap to the Music, Madame Blum and Beautiful Pleasure, just to name a few.  Unbridled Hope registered a 105 lifetime high Beyer, and just so we know that wasn't a fluke, she backed that up with a 103 and a 102 beyer in subsequent starts.  In fact, in her last 7 starts she never ran a Beyer # lower than a 93. With 15 starts and 6 wins and 4 thirds she was only out of the money 5 times and that was when she was just getting started with her illustrious career.  She is also a 100% winner producer with all of her racing foals, winning races. There is a substantial amount of class in this family and this bodes well for our Big Boy. Class begets Class.

The thing about the 2yo sales is you watch horse after horse scamper down the lane as fast as they can go. Most are trying really hard with all their might to get to the wire as fast as possible because the fast times usually bring the big dollars. Every once in awhile you see a horse going nice and easy and you think: "well this sucker is slow as a turtle and then the time pops up. You may see a fast time that surprises you then you quickly make note of that number and press rewind and watch again. The horse that you are reading about is just that kind of horse and I feel very fortunate to have gotten him. The fastest 10th of a mile at the sale I attended was 9 and 4/5ths seconds. This big, easy going, long striding sucka went in 10 flat. I went up to the barn to see him and now I am starting to fall in love. He is actually a tall long striding horse with a great walk and a sharp eye. He has a nice big throat latch, because if they can't breathe they can't run, and has a beautiful way of going. He also has good bone and all the parts are on right and they all move in unison. He is by a speedy 2yo Florida sire Wildcat Heir, who is known for speedy early horses. Wildcat Heir himself was a very precocious and classy 2yo, winning an early 2yo maiden special and then placing in the Sanford, a prestigious stake for 2yo colts at Saratoga!

We have had such fun running our Louisiana Breds in Louisiana. Besides the excitement of being in New Orleans and enjoying an absolutely beautiful racetrack, we picked up a win and 4 thirds in 5 starts at Fairgrounds this past Winter and Spring and we are just getting started. I love racing in Louisiana; the purses are fantastic, the food is fabulous and what a fun place with such a fun loving group of people. We've had so much fun that we decided to step up to the plate big time this year and take a shot at some of the big time purses that are available on Delta Jackpot Day at Delta Downs and Louisiana Champions Day at Fairgrounds.

I went looking for some real nice big strong 'Rajun Cajun' horses that looked like they could really kick some ass and this is one that really made an impression on me. He is by a hot young million $ plus graded stakes winning son of Giant's Causeway and out of a stakes winning mare who won her 2 stakes as a 2yo, showing brilliance and precocity at a young age!

Our Derby Hopeful, LLC

Pulpit is HOT but hasn't he always been?
He is as consistent as the day is long and has the ability to come up with a top class horse on a regular basis. He is arguably one of the best sons of the great Seattle Slew to go to the breeding shed and he certainly lived up to his daddy's prowess.

This 2yo colt by Pulpit is a site to behold. He is from the direct family of Rutherienne and Ruthian, both graded stakes winners by Pulpit, so we know the cross works and the blood of champions runs through his veins. Rutherienne just happens to be Pulpit's second leading earner with earnings of well over 1.4 million dollars.

"This pedigree just makes so much sense and works very well" says Alan Porter, top pedigree analyst and top thoroughbred geneticist. He was instrumental in planning this mating and felt like Pulpit was a natural choice for the powerful mare AveryMerryMoment, the daughter of another champion sire, Distorted Humor.  While we are talking champion bloodlines this colt is bred on the same cross that produced Tapit, one of the current leading sires today.
