The sire, Hook and Ladder, is off to a momentous start as a stallion, with four stakes-winning horses from his first crop.  The broodmare is a very good producer by one of the greatest broodmare sires and monumental racehorses of all time, the legendary SECRETARIAT.  Secretariat is the broodmare sire of over 35 Grade 1 stakes winners, including Storm Cat, A.P. Indy, Gone West, and Chiefs Crown.

Exciting Update!

Stock in Parting Glass Racing's 2006 filly by Hook And Ladderjust went up when BIG TRUCK (by Hook And Ladder) triumphed in the $300,000 Tampa Bay Derby on Saturday, beating 2 year old champion War Pass, scoring his first graded victory, and making him a serious contender in the 2008 Kentucky Derby!  I spoke to Barclay on Sunday to congratulate him on his win, and he said, "Big Truck is definitely heading to the Derby! And the longer he goes, the better he likes it."

The Classic Curves filly is 1/2 sister to Parting Glass Racing's Cute Cognac.

Cute Cognac sold as a broodmare prospect at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Winter Mixed Sale for a whopping $180,000!

Big Pedigree Update! Cousin to the Classic Curves filly, Icoabod Crane, earned a hard fought victory in Pimlico's $100,000 Frederico Tesio Stakes on April 19th. Now he's on to the Gr1 Preakness on May 17th!

As many of you already know, Distorted Humor is the sire of champion and legendary NY bred KY Derby G1 winner Funny Cide as well as the 2005 Gr1 Whitney winner Commentator. Hold on to your hats ~ Distorted Humor is also the sire of this gorgeous NY Bred filly.
